🚌 Por tierra – Tren o autobús desde Bangkok a través del sur de Tailandia
El autobús o miniván desde Bangkok hasta Perlis (vía Hat Yai) toma aproximadamente 17 horas y cuesta entre RM 120–160 (~2,600–3,500 THB) según Rome2Rio.

Como alternativa, puedes tomar el tren hasta Hat Yai y luego continuar en autobús: el viaje completo toma alrededor de 19 horas, con un costo estimado entre RM 45–370 (fuente: en.wikipedia.org y Rome2Rio).

Viajar por tierra es la opción más económica, aunque lleva mucho más tiempo.

La opción más rápida que puedes considerar es tomar un vuelo desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de Bangkok hasta el Aeropuerto Internacional de Hat Yai. Desde Hat Yai, puedes tomar una miniván hacia la ciudad de Padang Besar y cruzar la frontera internacional del sur de Tailandia hacia el norte de Malasia en el puesto de control de inmigración de Padang Besar.

🚌 Overland – Train or Bus from Bangkok via Southern Thailand

• Bus/minivan from Bangkok to Perlis (via Hat Yai) takes roughly 17 hours and costs around RM 120–160 (~2,600–3,500 THB) Rome2Rio.

Overland travel is cheapest but takes much longer.

The fastest option you may consider is, by taking a flight from Bangkok International Airport to Hat Yai International Airport, then from Hat Yai, you can take mini van to Padang Besar town and you can cross the international border at the Southern Thailand to Northern Malaysia at Padang Besar Imigration checkpoint.
